Liverpool’s First Loss – Why I’m Still Not Worried

The new season had kicked off so well for Liverpool — all wins, momentum building, spirits high. Then came the trip to Crystal Palace, where we suffered our first defeat. Yes, I was disappointed. I wanted that winning streak to continue.

Still, I’m not overly worried. This summer saw major changes to the squad. New faces, new selections — it takes time for everything to click. Players need to adapt; the team as a whole needs its rhythm. So if I must be optimistic (and I am), I truly believe we might be at our lowest point right now — from here, there’s only upward.

Of course, we made bold signings, and I’m not saying all adjustments are seamless. But when you invest in big changes, you accept that acceptance and cohesion will take time. I firmly believe that the good times will return.

That said, there is one worry in the back of my mind: if Virgil van Dijk were to suffer a serious injury and face a long spell out, the team would be tested in a different way. Keeping our captain fit could be crucial this season.

But for now — my feelings are simple. Liverpool will be okay. I believe in us.

Thanks for reading. Take care, and I hope your evening is peaceful as we look ahead together.
